The Ultimate Guide to Grocery Shopping with Grace Gillespie

Grace has been a fitness enthusiast for most of her life and has always believed in the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Her mission is to teach people to lead a healthy life and help them reach their goals.

Why do you write?
My Ultimate passion is helping others achieve their goals. So if I can help others achieve their goals, learn and apply new healthy habits and make “healthy” a lifestyle, then, i’ve achieved my goal and that is the EXACT reason that I write.

When did you decide to become a writer?
When I realized that I could get my message across to people without having to be present.

How much research do you do?
My whole life, past, present and future. I research daily and continue to learn more and more about people, actions, habits and the why’s and how’s of healthy living. I practice what I preach so it makes research not only fun but a second nature to me.

What’s your book about?
My book is about learning how to go grocery shopping for healthy food, make healthy choices and habits and learning how to read food labels so that you can set not only you up for success but your family as well.

So, what have you written?
This is my third book. My first book is about Mental Motivation. It’s 30 days to mentally prepare yourself for the body of your dreams. My second book is a Healthy cookbook. And this book, my third one is The Ultimate guide to Grocery shopping. All of these books are in my “Your Stop and Stare body” series.

I have also been writing health and fitness articles for various Fitness Magazines and Blogs for about 14 years now.

What made you so passionate about Health and Fitness?
Since the time I was 3 years old, I had such a passion for health and Fitness. My father was a Bodybuilder and my Brother and Nephew are both Pro Boxers. So I come from a very Health consciences family, which is why I feel that it is beyond important to reiterate the importance of a healthy lifestyle to our youth so that by the time we are adults, it is just second nature.

Do you think someone could be a writer if they don’t feel emotions strongly?
Yes, because EVERYONE is passionate about something. So, they just need to figure out where their passion lies and from there it’s just a piece of (sugar free) cake.  Their passion will lead the way and the words and ideas will continue to flow out. But, it has to be their true passion.

What is your writing Kryptonite?
My Kryptonite is hearing my readers and/or clients tell me how their lives have been changed since they read my book/books. And how they’ve implemented the changes in their lives.

Does writing energize or exhaust you?
It 100% energizes me to the extreme where I get so excited that sometimes I can’t sleep lol. I love spreading the word and teaching people habits, tips and tricks that can change their lives and make them not only healthier but happier as well.

Are you a full time Writer?
No, I own a gym and I’m a personal trainer, Fitness Nutritionist, Motivational Speaker, Fitness Model and an NPC Judge along with being an Author.  I love anything Health and Fitness related Lol
